The Colin Farrell Foundation is committed to transforming the lives of individuals and families living with intellectual disability through education, awareness, advocacy, and innovative programs.
Colin is an award -winning actor and special needs advocate. In 2003, Colin walked with the athletes in the Special Olympics World Summer Games held in Ireland, the largest sporting event of the year. He went on to be a passionate spokesperson, supporter, and advocate for the athletes and the organization.
Colin is an active member of the Angelman community and advocates for those with intellectual disabilities. Colin’s son James was born with Angelman Syndrome, a rare neuro-genetic disorder, which made Colin’s work with those living with intellectual disabilities even more personal.
Inspired by his two sons, he is excited and deeply humbled by the hope that the Colin Farrell Foundation can help those who the larger systems of governance have neglected.
